TILLS HALLONEN MOGNAR

The exhibition, shown at Falbygdens Museum in Falköping 2020, was inspired by the 'Hallonflickan' (The Raspberry Girl), a 6,000-year-old archaeological find on permanent display in the museum.

If the history of the universe were to be contained in one month, then the earth would have been created on the 21st, the dinosaurs would have lived on the 31st, between 11:30 and 20:30, and we humans would have been on earth for the last 9 seconds on the same day, just before midnight.

Of these 9 seconds, most are almost unknown.

What is it that separates me from someone else who has lived? What is now or then? There is no time, and the thought of the 9 seconds allows me to experience that even 6000 years back in time is now.

There is no boundary between me and her. No distance at all when I look closely at her body which has been hidden for 6000 years underwater. The seeds that were in her stomach are the same seeds that I now hold in my hand.

The same sky, the same way the earth rotates, the same illusion that it is the sun that moves.

"Tills hallonen mognar" explores my relationship to time. How close can I get? What I do not understand gives me opportunities for everything, to travel in time and be anywhere.
