Each cyanotype print is unique and made by hand coating the paper with a light sensitive solution, exposed to the sun and rinsed in water until the blue image emerges. The artwork is further toned and processed with different mediums.

I used to live on an island, at the far end of the sea in an archipelago in the Atlantic. In front, there was an invisible island. An island that comes and goes and whose only traces are the things that the tide washes up on the shore.

This project is about meetings, objects, plants and other things that the sea takes from the island and gently leaves on my shore.
